MINNEAPOLIS — The Military Travel Administration said Wednesday it will not hire military employees.
The agency says it has received no requests to hire the roughly 100 civilian employees of its Travel Service agency since its inception in 1999.
The agency is not the only travel agency that has said it would not hire members of the military.
The Travel Service said in January that it will no longer hire members who have been convicted of any crime related to the war on terror.
It was unclear if the decision by the agency was related to a federal investigation of the travel agency by the Department of Justice.
