The Emirates travel agency has also revoked a British passport for the woman and suspended her passport for three months.
In the photo, which was posted on Sunday, the woman is seen wearing a yellow cardigan, with the word “baghdada” on the front.
In a statement, the Dubai office of Emirates travel said the woman has been “suspended from all Dubai services, and will be held in a secure and appropriate facility for up to seven days.”
She was also suspended from all Emirates hotels and restaurants, the statement said.
The photo was taken by an Instagram user called jayhoon.
She has not been identified.
According to a report from the BBC, the man’s name was Jayhoon al-Abdullah.
The photo was shared by a group called “the travel agency” on Instagram.
The account has since been taken down.
The Dubai Travel Agency said the incident is being investigated.
